has a wealth of raw materials such as clay, glaze materials, black wattle wood
ash, feldspar and pyrophyllite. Working in the natural environment,
collecting materials locally that are utilising in the work, produces a look
unique to Bandicoot Pottery.
Using combinations of clays, stone, wood ash and fire to decorate
thrown form. Each piece is hand crafted and individually enriched by the
endless variations of the natural ash glazes that captures the essence of the
clay body and the firing process. |
